1. Gangrene- Gangrene happens when the death of the body’s tissue area after a lack of blood supply or flow caused by illness, injury, or infection, or an underlying condition that affects your circulation. In which occurs massive necrosis.

The bacterial infection produces toxins that release gas and cause necrosis (tissue death).

Symptoms may include an include- discoloured skin; change in skin colour to red or black, swelling, numbness, pain, skin breakdown. If the condition worsens, the skin may become pale and then turn grey or purplish-red. The extremities, feet, and hands are most commonly affected. The skin may look bubbly.

There is a type of gangrene - dry gangrene, internal gangrene, wet gangrene and gas gangrene is a life-threatening condition.


2. Genotype- Genotype is an organism's set of genes in its DNA responsible for a particular trait.  It refers to the genetic characteristics of an individual.

Phenotype is an organism's physical expression of those genes. It refers to the observable physical characteristics such as morphology, development, or behavior.



3. Goitre- “Enlarged thyroid gland”

Abnormal enlargement of the butterfly-shaped (thyroid) gland below adam's apple, causswelling or lump in the front of the neck.

Goiter can be associated with a thyroid gland is not functioning properly.  In most cases, goitre is caused by iodine deficiency.


4. Grade (tumor) – Description of a tumor based on the degree of abnormality in cancer cells such as cell shape, size, mitosis, etc.

Tumor tissue examine under a microscope, grade Indicates how quickly a tumor is likely to grow and spread.


5. Granulation tissue-  Newly formed connective tissue and microscopic blood vessels that form on the surfaces of a wound during in wound healing process. This tissue typically grows from the base of a wound and is ability have to fill the wounds.


6. Granuloma- granuloma is an aggregation of macrophages (specialized cells involved in the detection, phagocytosis, and destruction of bacteria and other harmful organisms) that forms in response to chronic inflammation.
