1. Saprophyte- An organism, living on dead cells or tissue. and get energy from dead and decaying
organic matter.
2. Sarcoma – Malignant neoplasm (tumor)
of mesenchyme (connective tissue) origin.
3. Scirrhous - scar-like consistency, hard and fibrous. For
example, scirrhous carcinoma of the breast.

Scleroderma – Hardening and tightening due to protein collagen.
5. Sclerosis - Abnormal hardening of
body tissue. For example, localized hardening
and tightening of the skin.
6. Secondary - Complication that is caused by the primary
disease. For example, secondary hypertension.
7. Septic- Infected
with microorganisms, when an infection reaches the bloodstream and causes
inflammation in the body. Sepsis leads to life-threatening low blood pressure. Severe cases of
sepsis can lead to septic shock caused by infection.
