Internal respiration/ exchange of gases in the body tissues
In internal respiration CO2 from the body cells to exchanged for O2 from blood.
In tissue cells PO2 is about 40mmHg and PCO2 is 45 mmHg and in capillary PO2 is about 104 mmHg and PCO2 is 40mmHg.
Now oxygenated blood entering tissue from capillary have PO2 is 104 mmHg and tissue cell PO2 is 40mmHg.
PCO2 of tissue cells is 45 mmHg and PCO2 of capillary is 40 mmHg as result CO2 diffuse from tissue cell into blood capillary.
