1. Iatrogenic - Disease or symptoms or illness caused in a patient by medical intervention, medical examination or diagnostic procedures or treatment or comments of a physician or surgeon. For example the adverse effect of drug prescribed by a physician.

2. Idiopathic – Unknown cause. For example, any disease with an uncertain or unknown origin may be termed idiopathic.

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis; a condition that causes scar tissue (fibrosis) to build up in the lungs.
