Endotracheal intubation

 An endotracheal tube, also called an ET tube. It is a flexible tube that is placed in the trachea (windpipe) through the mouth or nose. In most emergency situations, ET is placed through the mouth.The process of inserting an endotracheal tube (ET tube) is called endotracheal intubation.

The process of inserting an endotracheal tube  (ET tube) is called endotracheal intubation (EI). Endotracheal intubation is usually performed after administration of general anesthesia. Insert the endotracheal tube (ET tube) under direct supervision with the help of a laryngoscope device.

An endotracheal tube is placed through the mouth to the trachea to assist in breathing during medical emergencies and surgery. 

Endotracheal intubation (EI) procedure is often performed in emergency patient who are unconscious or who can't breathe on their own. Endotracheal tube placement connect with mechanical ventilation allows for the delivery of oxygen.
