Number of death  occuring within neonatal period (28 days) age divided by total live births in same year per 1000 live birth.

21. Post neonatal morality rate (PNMR)

Number of death occur after 28 days and within one year (28days- 1 year) of age in given year divided by total live births in same year per 1000 live birth.

22. Infant mortality rate (IMR)

Number of deaths of child under 1 year of age (infant) divided by total number of live birth in same year per 1000 live births.

23. Under 5 mortality rate 

Number of deaths of children less than 5 years of age divided by total number of live births in same year per 1000 live births.

Death of fetus after 20 weeks of gestation and before delivery.
