It is important, to maintaining oral hygiene is mandatory to protect from oral infection. Tooth brushing is the act of scrubbing upper and lower teeth with a toothbrush equipped with fluoride toothpaste by following the tooth brushing technique.

You should be brushing your teeth twice daily for 2 minutes each time, it  can reduce your risk of cavities, preventing yellowing of teeth, gum disease, protect the enamel layer of the teeth and other oral health conditions.

1. Place your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the gums.

2. Move the toothbrush back and forth gently (softly) in short strokes and also brush in a circular motion, it is better able to clean your gums.

3. Brush the outer surfaces of teeth, the inside surfaces, and the chewing surfaces of all teeth. Brush gently soft back-and-forth movements to avoid irritating your gums. Brush the gaps in between your teeth, areas behind your rear (back) teeth.

4. To clean the inside surface of the front teeth, tilts the toothbrush vertically and make several up-and-down strokes.

5. Once the previous 3 steps are done, Brush your tongue to remove bacteria and keep your breath fresh.

Caring for Teeth

 

Of course, brushing your teeth is part of a complete dental care routine. You should also follow -

 

1. Clean the between teeth where the toothbrush can’t reach. Where tooth decay-causing bacteria are still present. You must remove plaque and food particles from between the teeth and under the gum line. It can cause teeth problems.


2. Intake a balanced diet, limits sugary beverages and snacks.


3. Visit your dentist regularly, if you found any symptoms such as gingivitis, teeth problem, bad mouth breath (halitosis) for prevention and treatment of oral disease.
