2. Leucopoiesis
3. Thrombocytopoiesis
1. Erythropoiesis
Formation of Red blood cell, which occurs in bone.
Stem cells, cell with the unique ability to develop into specialized cell types in the body.
2. Leucopoiesis
Leucopoiesis is the process of production of WBCs.
Leukocytes originate from hemocytoblasts of blood forming bone marrow. Leucopoiesis also occur throughout body in lymph tissues such as lymph nodes, spleen and tonsils.
Hemocytoblast, present in bonemarrow.
3. Thrombocytopoiesis
Process of formation of platelets is called thrombocytopoiesis.
They originate from Hemocytoblasts in bone marrow.
