Double at age of 4 year, Triple at age of 13 years.


Weight;

At birth; 2500-3500gm

After 10 days; increase 30gm

At 6 months; double

Next 6 months; increase 15 gms

1 year; triple of birth weight

2.5 years; four the time of birth weight


Head circumference;

Average at birth; 33-35cm

First 6 months; increase half inch per month

Next 6 months; 1/4 inch per month

At 1 year of age; increase 4.5 cm


Chest circumference; barrel shaped

At birth average; 30 -33cm

At 1 year head circumference becomes equal to chest circumference, after that only chest circumference increases.
