Preoperative Care

1. Assessment of general condition

2. Vital sign assessment after every 30 minutes and patient gtes normal.

3. Intake, output assessment

4. Assessng the NPO status

5. IV medications, fluids, antibiotics

6. Catheter or NG tube feeding care

7. Assessment of IV line, feeding tube catheter or suture line

8. NPO status; after surgery doesn't take diet before 24 hours, when patient pass flatus then start with liquid diet, semi solid and solid diet.

9. If the general assessment and Vitals are stable than patient has shifted into the ward.

10. Pain management

11. Prevent risk of infection

12. Change the Dressing

13. Bathing

14. Dietary management

15. Activity

16. Follow-ups
