Infusions refer when aaaan outside substance is administered directly into the bloodstream that can be medicine, drug, fluids, nutrients.

Infusion can done through Intravenous, intramuscular, epidural, and subcutaneous route.

Transfusion 

The term  transfusion refers blood transfusion. Transfusion is the process by which blood is transferred/ntroduced into a patient’s bloodstream through a vein. Blood transfusion takes place through an intravenous catheter. Transfusion introduces as blood.
