Radioimmunoassay (RIA)
In RIA, radioactivity is used to level of the antigen or antibody.
For example; a labeled antigen could be used to measure the amount of antibody present in patient serum.
The RIA is very sensitive as very small quantity of radioactivity can be measured.
This process is extremely specific and very target and sensitivity of this reaction is very high.
Which antigen we want to detect.
