1. Solid medical waste
In this waste include;
Needle, infusion set, bandages, antimicrobial waste, other contaminated material, contaminated with blood or body fluids from medical diagnosis, treatment or research.
2. Liquid medical waste
In this wastes such as;
Blood, body fluids, dialysis solution, chemical reagents, solvents, acids, heavy metal solutions, cytotoxics, other pharmaceuticals resulting from medical treatment or research.
3. Isolation waste
All disposable materials associate with a medical patient isolated from other patients to prevent transmission of a very infectious disease.
4. Household waste (non infectious waste)
Waste originating from medical treatment or research centres include uncontaminated wastes; office paper, packaging materials.
