For infants, attachment contributes to their emotional growth as well as physical growth. Way of boning such as feeding or cradling and holding your baby to your chest allows for direct skin-to-skin contact and your baby feels secure.

If you need to wake your infant, tickle (lightly touch) your baby's feet or blow gently on a cheek.

Limit any activity that could be too rough or bouncy for your kid. Make sure your baby is securely handled, don't wake the baby by shaking.

When you see the first sign of redness or develop a diaper rash, you can apply a safe effective Zinc oxide (25%-40%) based cream and ointments on the diaper area.

A newborn baby generally needs to be fed every 2 to 3 hours. It is always recommended that babies be fed on demand, whenever they seem hungry. If your baby doesn't seem interested in eating or sucking, immediately contact your doctor.

Babies often swallow air during feedings, which can make them fussy (cause irritability, cry that sounds unusual).

Burping (release gas after feeding) helps to get rid of some of the air that babies swallow during feeding. To help your baby and prevent this, burp your baby often.
