1.
Wash your hands or use a hand sanitizer
before handling baby
Before
handling your baby, you have to wash your hands or you can use a hand
sanitizer.

2. Bonding and Soothing- gently calming effect

closeness with your baby can promote an emotional connection. Making bonding is one of the most pleasurable parts of infant
care.

infants, attachment contributes to their emotional growth as well as physical
growth. Way of boning such as feeding or cradling and holding your baby to
your chest allows for direct skin-to-skin contact and your baby feels
secure.
3. Support your baby's head and neck
Not
supporting the baby's head and neck can result in injuries because the newborn
baby has weak head and neck muscles and requires slow and very little strength
to move their head.

baby's head isn’t supported, it will flop (swing) backward or forward and startle (cause to feel sudden shock the
baby), making it feel to the baby very

4. Never shake your newborn baby
Always

and even can be death.

need to wake your infant, tickle (lightly touch) your
baby's feet or blow gently on a cheek.
Limit any
activity that could be too rough or bouncy for your kid. Make sure your baby is
securely handled, don't wake the baby by shaking.
5. Change the baby diaper
Keep your
baby’s diaper area dry and change the wet diaper to prevent infection diaper
rash on your baby’s skin.

apply baby diaper rash powder at every diaper change.

advice is that you change your newborn's diaper every two to three hours, or as
often as needed to change the diaper because may urinate as often as every one
to three hours, and have between two and five bowel movements a day.
You can
use disposable diapers; they absorb wetness leaving less moisture on your
baby's skin.
When you
see the first sign of redness or develop a diaper rash, you can apply a safe effective
Zinc oxide (25%-40%) based cream and ointments on the diaper area.
6. Breastfeeding your baby

that for your newborn baby breastfeeding is how much important.
A newborn
baby generally needs to be fed every 2 to 3 hours. It
is always recommended that babies be fed on
demand, whenever they seem hungry. If your baby doesn't seem
interested in eating or sucking, immediately contact your doctor.
Babies
often swallow air during feedings, which can make them fussy (cause
irritability, cry that sounds unusual).
Burping
(release gas after feeding) helps to get rid of
some of the air that babies swallow during feeding. To help your baby and

7. Baby Massage- Choose Products for Your Newborn
Doing
massages on your baby allows them to feel more relaxed, which helps to improve
their sleep. Researchers have shown that massages can relax your baby and it
improves their sleep patterns and feeling calm. Giving massage to your baby
encourages interaction between you and your baby, it will be a great way to bond
with the baby.
Some
researchers recommended that baby massage can promote healthy growth, positively
affect infant hormones that control stress, and reduce the crying of the baby.
8. Baby bath basic guide
For baby,
bath chooses a safe place, flat surface, and warm room and baby bath sponge.
You should
give your baby a sponge bath until the baby umbilical cord falls off and
the navel heals completely (1–4 weeks). It is recommended bath two or

9. Sleeping hours for newborn
According
to the National Sleep Foundation, Newborns should get 14–17 hours of sleep over
a 24-hour period and it is recommended breastfed babies feed often, about every
2–3 hours because the digestive system of babies is so small that they need
nourishment every few hours and should be awakened your baby.
Newborns
babies typically sleep for periods of 2–4 hours. For babies, healthy sleep must
develop their own sleep patterns and cycles. Some newborn babies sleep
around 18 -19 hours a day.
While the
baby is sleeping be sure to alternate the position of your baby's head (such as
first right, then left) to prevent the development of a flat spot on one side
of the baby's head.

you may feel anxious about handling a newborn but in a few short weeks, you
will develop a routine and be proud to parenting.
10. Care baby Umbilical cord
Umbilical cord care in
newborns is very important. It is kept in mind your baby's umbilical cord
stump should be clean and dry. A newly cut umbilical cord can be an entry route
for spreading bacteria that can cause newborn sepsis and can lead to death. This
basic point is that care helps to prevent infection.
Dress your baby in loose
clothing so that the umbilical cord is exposed and can dry out. Keep in
mind that don't dress your baby in tight
clothing across the umbilical cord and keep the cord of the baby exposed
to air.
